Acute bilateral obstructive uropathy is a condition in which swelling appears in both the kidneys of the body due to improper drainage of urine from the body. Due to sudden blockage, urine does not get drain out from the body. Kidneys get swelling due to the fact that in spite of production of urine by kidneys in required quantity, urine does not drain out. As compared to women, men are more susceptible towards this disorder. It is commonly believed that 5 out of 10000 people are affected form the disorder.
