In many cases, treatment is not required because the bacteria do not show any life threatening result. Those patients who have undergone kidney transplant, pregnant women, children having Vesicoureteral reflux, etc are treated through medications. If those persons who are having long-term urinary catheters are treated by antibiotics, the treatment does not prove effective. In such condition, it becomes more difficult to treat bacteria and often patients encounter with yeast infection.
