Chronic bilateral obstructive uropathy is a condition that results in blocking the urine from both the kidneys. Although, the kidneys take considerable time to get blocked, if gets blocked then it results in long term blockage. The condition is called bilateral because it causes blockage of both the kidneys of the human body. The disease is quite prevalent as 1 out of 1000 people is affected from the condition. Bladder outlet obstruction is considered as the main cause of the chronic bilateral obstructive uropathy. Reason being; the bladder outlet obstruction restricts urine to flow out from the bladder and this eventually results in high blood pressure, swelling and damaging of the kidney.
